In Loving Memory

We have lost a great Doctor, we have lost a great Friend, we have a great business that this great Doctor has built and it is only getting better.

Harold John Klassen, 74, of Aberdeen, Idaho, went home to be with His Lord and Saviour, July 12, 2018. He was
born May 18, 1944 to the late Otto and Eunice (Buchanan) Klassen. He was the second of eight children: Stanley (late Susan), Trudy (John) Saint Vincent, Charles (Sallye), late Wallace (Sue), Cathy (Ed) Hadley, Martha (Rob) Rochon, Ted (Ruth).

Harold married the love of this life, Joan Elaine Hamilton, on June 6, 1964. Together they had four children, Michael (Shelley), Kristine (Kevin) Burgemeister, Philip (Anna), Daryl (Trina). They lived their lives for Christ and raised their children to love and serve their Lord.

Harold lived his life to glorify the Lord, serve and help others and sup- port his community. He not only owned his own businesses on Main Street, but also supported the other businesses in his little town. He wanted to see his little town of Aberdeen thrive. His clinic and restaurants in Aberdeen were a picture of his loving, generous, caring heart. It showed his desire to help and serve oth- ers.

One of his greatest joys was spending time with his children, grandchil- dren, and great-grandchildren. He wanted to have everyone in his home. Serv- ing them his fresh garden food, making milkshakes and enjoying their company brought deep joy to his heart.

His legacy would urge others to come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour, live for Him, serve and help all in need, support, and love your family and enjoy the life God has given to you.

Country Health Store and Bio-Mechanics Clinic will continue to carry on his legacy. We look forward to continue “Making the world healthier one person at a time.”

Scents You Should Know…

EO#77 Ylang Ylang

The sweet, sensual scent of Ylang ylang es- sential oil melts away stress, tension and anxiety bringing you to a state of deep, peaceful calm. Ylang ylang has a long history of use in both the East and the West. In Indonesia, the petals of the flowers are scattered over the bed of newlywed couples on their wedding night. In the Philippines, healers have long used it in salves to treat insect bites, snake bites, cuts, burns and scrapes. There are many other uses for it throughout history.

The Ylang ylang tree can grow up to 65 ft. in height. The flowers of the tree do not start producing until the fifth year and produce about 45 pounds of flowers for the next 50 years. These flowers are used to make the oil. It takes approximately 50 pounds of flowers to make one pound of Ylang ylang essential oil. The oil is pro- duced by steam distillation. It is a pale yellow colored oil with and intense warm sweet, soft, flowery and somewhat musky aroma.

In the modern world of natural medicine, Ylang ylang oil may be helpful in treating insomnia, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), high blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, anxi- ety, nervous tension or depression. It is often suggested to be used as a natural aphrodisiac or sexual stimulant to help those with impotence or frigidity.
