Propolis Plus
Bees gather propolis, a resin, from the bark of the trees and leaves. They combine this resin with nectar, creating a mix of wax, pollen and bee bread. They then use this substance to seal their hives to protect them from outside contaminants. They also use propolis at the entrance of the hive to sterilize themselves as they come and go.
Propolis’ usefulness can be traced back to ancient times where Greeks used it to heal sores and ulcers and the Egyptians used it in the embalming process. In WWII, it was used by the Soviet Union to treat battle wounds. Propolis has been known to be an excellent natural antibiotic and immune system booster.
Synthetic antibiotics may have side effects when used, but propolis has no known side effects. CHF #78 Propolis Plus comes in liquid form that adults and children can use. CHF #78 Propolis Plus also contains oregon grape, myrrh, echinacea root, slippery elm, cloves, olive leaf, licorice, and black cherry extract. Licorice has long been used as a demulcent (soothing, coating agent) and expectorant (rids phlegm and mucus from the respiratory tract) and helps relieve respiratory ailments (such as allergies, bronchitis, colds and sore throat). Black cherry extract may help rid those aches and pains associated with the flu.
